Designed
as a hand-held, battery operated, the HS-620 from Hansford
Sensors Ltd. is the ideal entry-level vibration monitoring
tool for Maintenance Engineers throughout all industries.
It allows engineers
to monitor vibration levels on important plant machinery such
as motors, fans, gearboxes, centrifuges, pumps and other rotating
machinery, any where in the factory.
The HS-620
instrument comes complete with a hand-held probe containing a
measuring piezoelectric vibration sensing element. In use, the
probe tip is placed at the point on the machine where a vibration
needs to be monitored. The digital readout from the clear LCD
display is noted. This value of vibration level can then be compared
with future readings, allowing the engineer to make a calculated
recommendation of if and when corrective work needs to be carried
out.
This modern
approach to predictive maintenance ensures that the production
plant is operated at optimum efficiency and can be protected
against possible plant component failure resulting in costly
lost production.
